2019 Go Red For Women Luncheon: Photos & Fun
Folks from all over the Brazos Valley came together for the 2019 Go Red for Women Luncheon hosted at the Hilton Hotel & Conference Center in College Station, Texas yesterday. What ensued was lots of laughter, delicious food, heart-health education, fundraising, and even some tears as hundreds of ladies (and men) unified to “go red for women“. Guests got to meet Halle Spivey, the Brazos County Survivor Honoree of the Year. She and her sweet momma did an amazing job sharing about their journey and the importance of heart-health education. Keynote speaker, actress Tracey Conway, had everyone laughing and singing “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees as she shared her heartwarming tale about dying and being brought back to life.
Chrome Salon set up a fun lipstick bar and ensured that every woman looked absolutely fabulous! Downtown Event Services’ Photobooth was there to capture everything and send attendees home with a printed keepsake. Tables filled with auction items allowed guests to shop for a great cause, and many attendees left with goodie bags, floral arrangements, and blinking red heart pendants. But more importantly than all that FUN, every guest left with a deeper understanding and appreciation for their body’s most precious organ: the heart.
